Jones Stephens’ 2″ x 3″ ABS Shower Drain with 2″ ABS Spud and 4″ Square Chrome Plated Cast Strainer with Test Plug is the trusted, professional choice for your shower or floor drain installation. This drain comes with a square screw-in chrome plated cast strainer. It has a low profile for first and second floor installations, and its beveled edge allows for recessed installation. It comes complete with dual weep holes and a recessed sump area for added drainage. Its reversible clamping ring allows for an additional half inch of height adjustment, and its square strainer allows for easier tiling on the floor. It complies with new construction drain test requirements and covers both the wet test from the shower as well as the pressure test from above floors. Use the D50998 tailpiece extension when additional height is needed. Before testing, the spud should be threaded down to its lowest point, making contact with the plug. The plug should make complete contact with the drain opening. Remove the test plug with pliers and discard after testing.
